Alfa Capital Markets is the FSA registered London branch of Alfa Capital Holdings (Cyprus) Ltd. with regulatory approvals to arrange securities transaction for its clients. The London Branch is one of the UK's Leading investment banking businesses, serving the Russian and CIS markets.

Alfa Capital Markets is active in the area of equities brokerage and trading , and offers its wide international institutional client base access to Russian, Ukrainian and Kazakh corporates. The London-based operations were founded back in 2000 as Alfa Securities Ltd, one of the first CIS focused investment firms to be established in the UK.

Mr. Simon Roache, the Chief Executive of the branch, manages a team of top professionals located in London. The London Branch has  regulatory approvals from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission to carry out the following activities in London under the supervision of the FSA:

• Dealing in equities as agent (order-passer) and as principal
• Dealing on the London Stock Exchange
• Undertake corporate finance work and underwriting service

Regulatory information
The home state regulator of Alfa Capital Markets is the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission. In Addition the Financial Services Authority of the UK is the host state regulator and it supervises the operations of the Branch in the UK market.

Equity brokerage
The Company serves a wide range of institutional clients, and the brokerage business serves as the hub of the operations in London. The Branch offers prices in Russian and other CIS stocks, as well as being a key player in the GDR and ADR markets. Our structure allows us to pass orders to our Cyprus Head Office for execution.

Equity trading
The Branch executes on-exchange trades in GDRs on the International Order Book of the London Stock Exchange and has a  dedicated team of LSE client execution traders.

Corporate Finance & Underwriting Services
The Company participates in capital raising projects for Russian/CIS corporates, which are interested in primary or secondary share offerings in the London market. The Branch's Corporate Finance & Underwriting team participates in an advisory role, as well as in leading positions in the selling syndicates, with the Company acting as Underwriter
